How to Sync Your iPhone to Windows 11 Using iTunes

Stage 1: Download iTunes from Microsoft Store.

Here, Apple will send a verification code to your phone. All you have to do is key in the numbers on your screen.

Like other smartphones, the iPhone can be connected directly to your Windows 11 laptop via a cable. Using it, you can import a few selected photos or take an offline backup of all your photos and videos.

Method 1: Import Selected Photos

Stage 1: Connect your phone to your laptop. If this is your first time, you will see a prompt on your phone screen.

Press Allow.

step 2: Go to My Computer on your laptop and right-click on iPhone. Select Open.

Next, select Internal Storage and then DCIM.

You will see that all folders are named year/month. All you have to do is find the right folder and open it.

Once done, copy the files and paste them wherever you want.

Method 2: Take Backups of All Photos and Videos

Fortunately, the method to import all photos and videos is simple.

Stage 1: Connect your phone to your laptop with a Lightning cable. Next, open Explorer > This PC and right-click on iPhone.

Next, select the Import images and videos option.

Step 2: Your Windows system will immediately start searching for pictures and videos. And depending on the size of your warehouse, it may take a few minutes.

Windows will now give you the option to choose between Organize and Import.

Stage 3: Select Import all new items and add a folder name in the text box below.

Don’t forget to tick Delete after import so that the photos stay as they are on your phone.

General rules apply: importing will take time depending on the number of items on your iPhone.

Once the import is complete, you will find the named folder under Pictures on your Windows PC. Now, unplug your iPhone and that’s it.

The next time you perform the above steps, Windows will only import new photos and videos, saving you time.
