Last week, Supercell, the developers behind the popular mobile game Clash of Clans, released a quick update that adds a popular gem boost for gold and elixir. This comes in the wake of the highly controversial TH11 Clash of Clans December update, and here’s what players need to know about a gem boost.
Every winter, Supercell adds a gem on a holiday that allows players to earn more money by increasing their gold, elixir and dark elixir drill or pump, and this also allows attackers to earn more money. It started last week, but today there has been a change that everyone should know about.
Earlier in December, Clash of Clans received one of the biggest updates in Clash history. Shields changed major aspects of the game in terms of how long users can play, added a Town Hall 11 and new defensive buildings, removed Town Hall sniping, and much more. This has caused a lot of frustration with the players this support has helped. Read on for more details.
The December Clash of Clans update is still a big complaint on the official forum. Users have been complaining about Town Hall issues, Clan War donations not working, unfair battles, no loot anywhere (I see it a lot), and countless more.
The update came to prevent scammers from always being online, users getting cheap easy shields from Town Hall sniping, and a few other things, but it did more harm than good. But the game is still hugely popular and is slowly being fixed and tweaked as we speak. The company has even released a quick bug fix update, and more will likely come soon to balance things out.
That said, let’s talk about the hugely popular One Gem supplement that is currently underway. Gems are like real money that can be purchased from the in-game store or earned by achieving achievements in a village or by cutting down trees and decorations. Users can increase the speed of gold drills, elixir drills, and dark elixir pumps for just one Gem. It provides very fast income. Users can also attack like crazy and gain huge loot from bases that have not cleared these collectors.
But today, December 30, Supercell announced A few things that many gamers don’t realize, but something everyone would like to know.
Expanded Reinforcement to Barracks
A gem boost has been expanded today (December 30) to cover everything. An hour barracks or dark barracks used to build troops can be increased by 4 times for an hour for just one gem. This usually costs 5 and there were 10 gems for two hours before the update.
Essentially for a gem, users can get 4x more troops and go on an attack spree, which will result in tons of loot from bases that currently only increase their collectors. So build huge armies, use balloons and dragons and get 300-400k on each attack while riding.
1 Gem Buff for Spells and Heroes
When they say everything, they are serious. As a result, the Spell Factory and the Black Magic factory also benefit, as do the King and Queen heroes. They regenerate faster. From today, everything can be increased for a gem. Spells will expire 4 times faster over a 1-hour period using only one gem.
Power up both spell factories and enjoy fast brew times so you can attack all day. Don’t forget the 4 hour break though. After four hours of play, users are kicked out of the game until they are attacked or gain a shield. It’s called “Personal Break Timer” to prevent scammers from always being online to save money. Log out for 30 minutes and the timer resets to give users another four hours for Clash.
When Reinforcement Ends
Everything will be strengthened for a gem for a week. In fact, a gem boost will expire on January 7. Supercell gives players plenty of time to ramp things up, attack during the holidays, and have an extra week to play for those who are busy until 2016.
It takes 24 hours to increase gold, elixir and dark elixir, and it only takes one hour to increase the Barracks or Spell Factory. Take advantage of this while you’re here, because it will expire on January 7th.
