Apple will launch several new Macs in 2023, here are all the models planned

As usual, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman explained in his Power On news release. All the new Mac models we can expect from Apple next year. Many series need to be refreshed, including the Mac Pro, Apple’s most powerful computers.

According to his information, Apple would prepare an even more powerful Mac Pro, but less than we expected. As a matter of fact, the M2 Extreme chip we expected has been canceled and it seems that the Mac Pro will benefit from a “only” processor. M2 ultra up to 24 cores, GPU up to 76 cores and at least 192GB RAM. As a reminder, Apple last marketed a Mac Pro in 2019. A stratospheric price of 6499 euros.

What other Macs are coming next year?

Honestly among other models we can expect from next year next-generation 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros. As we can see in a benchmark of the M2 Max chip, these will surprisingly be even more efficient than the previous generation.

Gürman also said:A new iMac equipped with the M3 chip “probably starting late 2023 at the earliest” without providing further details. As a reminder, the current iMac was launched in April 2021 with the M1 chip and a slim and colorful design. Apple has therefore decided to skip a generation chip.

The reporter also announces that Apple is currently testing Mac minis with M2 and M2 Pro chips, which means these models should arrive as soon as next year. Finally, like every year, we may qualify for new MacBook M3s from the end of 2023, but the launch may be delayed to early 2024.
