Apple has filed a patent for a keyless keyboard concept

As the name suggests, the Keyless keyboard recommends: replace physical keyboard with multi-touch screen glass: in other words, an iPad. According to Apple, this idea was born from the observation that more devices with different shapes and user interfaces are being released. We immediately think of folding smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and other Motorola Razr 2022.

In the explanatory text of the patent received by our colleagues at AppleInsider, the company explains that “traditional keyboards do not have the flexibility necessary to take advantage of the expanded functionality offered by new devices, operating systems, and software.” Currently, it is up to the user to adapt to the keyboard.. The opposite, which is unacceptable in 2022, is impossible.

Apple’s patent will completely eliminate the physical keys on the keyboard

The system proposed by Apple will integrate two force sensors into two separate entry areas, in addition to the multi-point digital sensor.
