Apple accuses former employees of industrial espionage via AirDrop and Time Machine

There has never been a great deal of love between Apple and leakers. The voltage peak was probably reached shortly before the launch of the iPhone, which was particularly the subject of the phenomenon. Apple claims its former engineers will get their hands on these manufacturing secrets in various ways in hopes of getting hired by Rivos. According to the manufacturer, employees will store this information privately on USB keys, while others will use AirDrop to retrieve data from the company’s partner apps.

Another technique outlined by Apple: employees would make Time Machine backups to make an exact copy of Apple devices and then export them to a storage device. “Others have recorded big rollouts on existing but not yet released Apple SoCs. The complaint filed by the Cupertino company currently mentions two former employees. The latter has been hired by Rivos since leaving Apple.
