The iOS 10 update introduces many new iPhone features and iPad features that could change the way we use our devices. This is our iOS 10 feature wishlist of upgrades we want to see in 2016 for the iPhone 7 and current iPhones and iPads.
Apple added some of our original wishlist to the iOS 10 beta, but we still want a few more changes.
Some of these iOS 10 changes can fix the annoyances and problems we often encounter, while others can change the way we use iPhone and iPad.
With the potential for major features to skip the iPhone 7 and move on to the 2017 iPhone, it’s more important that we see major iOS 10 features arrive this year. These can add to the experience on iPhone 7 and older iPhones and iPads for users who decide to wait until 2017 for the upgrade.
Tim Cook is already introducing new iPhone features we wouldn’t know how to live without, and some of them are likely to come from iOS 10.

In June, Apple announced tvOS 10, watchOS 3.0, iOS 10 and macOS Sierra with many new features. The company fixed a few glitches and upgraded the look and features of many apps and iOS in general. Despite these changes, we want more.
We use a variety of products, including iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows; so some of the features on our iOS 10 update wishlist will come from these products.
It’s unlikely that Apple will add all these iOS 10 features to the next version of iOS, but there’s a good chance some will come out in a similar fashion.
