Apple has released the iOS 14.2 update and the software brings several changes to the iPhone, including new emojis for the keyboard.

iOS 14.2 Issues
iOS 14.2 update is causing problems for some iPhone users. Some issues are brand new, others are inherited from previous versions of iOS.

Apple stopped signing in iOS 14.1; This means that you cannot attempt to improve the performance of your iPhone. The company has also stopped signing on iOS 14.0.1, iOS 14.0 and iOS 13.

iOS 14.2 Update: What’s New
Apple’s xx updates always bring a mix of features, security patches, and core improvements, and that’s exactly what you get from iOS 14.2.

iOS 14.2 also contains a feature this was not included in the official changelog. It is seen that iPhone 8 models and later models receive 1080p FaceTime HD video calling support over Wi-Fi networks.
The iPhone 12 series can do the same over 5G and Wi-Fi.

iOS 14 Jailbreak
the developer team behind checkra1n jailbreaking tool released version 0.12.0 which adds support for iOS 14.1 and 14.2
The latest version of the tool now works with A10/A10X devices on iOS 14.x. There is also limited support for devices running A11 on iOS 14.x.
If you have an iPhone model with a newer processor, you will need to stay on iOS 13 for now.

Apple has confirmed a new iOS 14.3 milestone upgrade for the iPhone. The software is currently in beta testing before it will be released soon.
The company announced that its new Fitness+ service Launch on December 14. Fitness+ requires iOS 14.3, watchOS 7.2, iPadOS 14.3, and tvOS 14.3.
Apple’s new AirPods Max headphones. Headphones on sale just before the December 15 release date require Apple devices with iOS 14.3 or later, iPadOS 14.3 or later, macOS Big Sur 11.1 or later, watchOS 7.2 or later, or tvOS 14.3 or later.
On top of all this, Apple says The “EKG” app on Apple Watch Series 4 and later will launch in Taiwan on iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2 starting Tuesday, December 15.
If you can’t / don’t want to wait for the official release, you can download the iOS 14.3 beta to your iPhone right away. Most people should download the public iOS 14.3 beta.
