Apple has released iOS 13 for iPhone and iPad models and another version of iOS 12 that has not been updated to iPadOS 13.
iOS 12.4.4 is a maintenance update, meaning it’s a minor upgrade for the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, original iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPod touch sixth generation.
If your iPhone or iPad is currently running iOS 12.4.3, you’ll get the shortest changelog and the smallest iOS 12.4.4 download.
If your device is currently running an older version of iOS 12, your iOS 12.4.

iOS 12.4.4 Issues
iOS 12.4.4 is a minor update, but in some cases it has a huge impact on performance.
We’ve been hearing about various iOS 12.4.4 issues like installation issues, issues with first and third party apps, abnormal battery drain, connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS), UI lag, random reboots. and more.
The list is small right now, but we expect the list of iOS 12.4.4 issues to grow as more users migrate their devices to the latest iOS 12 firmware.

If you are tired of the performance of iOS 12.4.4 on your iPhone or iPad, remember that you can no longer upgrade to iOS 12.4.3. Apple has stopped signing.
Apple doesn’t sign in to older versions of iOS 12 either, so once you upgrade to iOS 12.4.4, you’re stuck there until Apple releases a new version of iOS 12.
iOS 12.4.4 Update: What’s New
iOS 12.4.4 update does not bring any new features to iPhone and iPad. In fact, there seems to be only one security patch on board that you can read about. Apple’s security page. The fix addresses a security issue with the company’s FaceTime feature.
iOS 12.4.4 Jailbreak
You can jailbreak iOS 12, but with iOS 12.4.4 you’ll want to be careful.
Released a jailbreak tool called jailbreak developers control Compatible with iPhone 5s-iPhone X. Not compatible with newer iPhone models.
If you own an iPhone XR, iPhone XS, or iPhone XS Max, you can jailbreak iOS 12 using the following. Chimera jailbreak tool. However, your device must be running iOS 12.0-iOS 12.1.2. Unfortunately, there is no way to go back to these updates.

Apple’s release of iOS 12.4.4 was another surprise release for the iPhone and iPad and continues a nice trend for those left behind in iOS 12.
The company may decide to release an iOS 12.4.5 update or iOS 12.5 update down the road, but there’s no guarantee that will happen.
