The iOS 10.3.1 update is still available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and today we want to bring you the most important things to know as we move towards the next iOS 10 release and iOS 11 launch.
Apple has released two new versions of iOS 10.3. One version, iOS 10.3.2, is an unreleased bug fixer that is in beta testing before an unknown release date.
The other version, iOS 10.3.1, is a minor maintenance release for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. iOS 10.3.1 is much smaller than its predecessor (iOS 10.3), but it’s still a significant upgrade for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
iOS 10.3.1 comes with a major security patch and bug fixes and there is a possibility that it will have a significant impact on the overall performance of your device.
A little over a month has passed since its release, and iOS 10.3.1 continues to reign as the most current version of iOS 10.
With that in mind, we want to bring you the most important things you need to know right now about the performance of iOS 10.3.
iOS 10.3.1 Review
If you’re coming directly from iOS 10.3, the iOS 10.3.1 update is minor. On iPhone 7, you can expect a 30MB download.
Although the installation took about 5 minutes to complete on our phone, we were able to finish the download in a matter of seconds.
We recommend taking about 10 minutes to monitor the situation. Our installation went smoothly, but there’s no telling what you might encounter.
If you’re coming to iOS 10.3.1 from an earlier version than iOS 10.3, your iOS 10.3.1 update will be much larger thanks to iOS 10.3.
iOS 10.3’s features and fixes will be added to your update, so make sure you take up to 30 minutes to watch the download and installation.
In the weeks since iOS 10.3.1 was released, we’ve downloaded and installed the update on five versions of iPhone: iPhone 7, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, and iPhone 5. If you want a quick feedback, go to those versions. Links.
We’ve installed the software on all four versions of the iPad, including the iPad Air, iPad mini, and iPad Pro.
Currently, iOS 10.3. And given what’s on board (an important fix for a potential Wi-Fi exploit), it’s definitely worth a look if you own one of these devices.

iOS 10.3.1 Update: What’s New
The iOS 10.3.1 changelog states that the update comes with bug fixes and security patches, meaning it’s a maintenance update. Don’t expect any new features on board.
Apple has released the iOS 10.3. single security patch. The update also reported fixes unnamed iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c issues.
However, if you are upgrading from iOS 10.2.1 to iOS 10.3.1 or earlier, you will get a host of new features with iOS 10.3.1 due to iOS 10.3.

It’s also worth noting that Apple’s Clips app is finally in the App Store for both iPhone and iPad.
Clips is available on select devices running iOS 10.3 or iOS 10.3. Clips is not available on iPhone 5, iPhone 5c or iPad 4.
iOS 10.3.1 Issues
It’s a minor update, but the iOS 10.3.1 update is causing problems for many iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users.
iOS 10.3.1 users are complaining about battery drain, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, various first and third party apps, lag, random reboots and more.
We expect complaints to increase as more people find and discover the iOS 10.3.

Note: You can no longer downgrade from iOS 10.3. Apple no longer logs out on iOS 10.2.1 or iOS 10.3, which means you’ll be stuck with iOS 10.3.1 until the company releases a new update.
iOS 10.3.1 Jailbreak

The jailbreak developers haven’t released a working jailbreak tool for iOS 10.2.1 or iOS 10.3, but we may see one released after Apple releases the next iOS 10 update.

The developers have reportedly cracked the iOS 10.3.1 update, but it’s unclear whether they will release it to the public.
Rumors suggest we could see a broadcast Some time after Apple released iOS 10.3.
For now, you must be on iOS 10.2 or earlier to jailbreak an iPhone or iPad. Unfortunately, there is no way to downgrade from iOS 10.2.1.

With the retirement of iOS 10.3.1, Apple is now focused on another maintenance update, iOS 10.3.2.
Apple’s iOS 10.3.2 update is currently in beta for developers and the general public. We still don’t have a release date (we’re in iOS 10.3.2 beta 5 for release soon) and we may not get a release date in advance. Apple generally does not confirm iOS release dates.
You may want to try the iOS 10.3.2 update before it’s released, but early software can and probably will cause problems on your device. So you’ll want to be sure of the beta, especially since we’re so close to an official release now.

WWDC 2017 is set for the beginning of June.
It’s also worth noting that we’re just weeks away from WWDC, Apple’s annual developer conference.
At WWDC 2017, we expect Apple to release its next big update, iOS 11.
While an iOS 11 version will likely be released alongside the new iPhone this fall, Apple may release an iOS 11 beta for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch right after the WWDC 2017 keynote in early June.
