The Apple Store app is free and has saved us in the past. Apple’s website and carrier websites sometimes crash on pre-order day. Apple’s app is generally pretty stable, allowing you to buy the iPhone the same way you would on Apple’s website.

If you start having problems, give it a shot. It’s also an option for those who don’t want to get out of bed at 3am on a Saturday night/morning. You can order right from your phone or tablet.

Have a Backup Payment Plan

You will want to have a backup payment option in case the card you are using is flagged by your bank or credit card company.

If you don’t normally shop through Apple, or don’t usually make large and expensive purchases with the card you plan to use, the company responsible for your card may flag the purchase, preventing you from pre-ordering. .

Make sure you have another payment option available to ensure this doesn’t affect your iPhone 6s pre-order. Make sure you also have the other card’s information at hand.

Decide on Storage Now

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will come in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB sizes. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus aren’t cheap, and you’ll want to have the perfect storage size unlocked long before the iPhone 6s pre-order time.
