If you are using an Honor or Huawei smartphone, you have probably seen this annoying “Google Play Services is updating” message when trying to use certain apps. “Updating Google Play Services”: resolution of the error message
To get rid of the “Updating Google Play Services” error message:
- enter inside Settings > Apps & Notifications > Apps
- From the list, select Google Play Services
- enter inside Storage > Clear cache
- enter inside Manage Domain > Clear All Data
The problem indeed seems to be related to the 12.6.73 update of the Google Play Services app. On the forums, some users report that downgrading the EMUI provides a more definitive solution.
