How to root Asus Zenfone 2
- Protect your personal data!
- enable developer modeby performing the manipulations of this tutorial, if it has not yet been done.
- Go to Developer Options and select “USB debugging“.
- download Quick start here.
- Compress it on your computer.
- DownloadZenfone 2 pre-rooted image herecorresponds to your model.
- Open the file on your computer.
- Connect Zenfone 2 to your computer with this link: USB cable supplied.
- Press the Shift key and right click on the Fastboot folder.
- Click “open a command window“.
- Type this command:
restart adb bootloader
- to meet pre-rooted image folder Zenfone 2. Rename system.img.
- Enter this command:
adb flash system system.img
- Wait for the image to load.
- When everything is done, type:
fast boot reboot
- And there you go, your Zenfone 2 rooted !
