If you have recently purchased (or are planning to buy) the Jabra Elite 75t, you should already be familiar with its specs. This time around, Jabra’s wireless Bluetooth earbuds are not only compact, but also include USB-C charging. And when it comes to connecting to your phone for calls and music, it’s simple thanks to the Sound+ app. But is it as easy as ever to pair the Jabra Elite 75t with Notebook and other devices?
Yes, the Jabra Elite 75t is not designed to be paired with your Android phone (or iPhone) only. These wireless buds pair incredibly well with laptops, smartwatches, and even MacBooks.
And the best part is that the earbuds can stay connected to two devices at the same time, eliminating the hassle of pairing and repairing every time you change devices.
In this post, we’ll show you how to pair the Jabra Elite 75t headset with other devices like laptops, MacBooks, and smartwatches. And if you have a Bluetooth adapter in your PC, you can even pair the buds like I did.
Let’s go, shall we?
Pairing the Jabra Elite 75t with a Laptop or Desktop
Stage 1: Press and hold the button on both the left and right earbuds for about three seconds to put the earbuds into pairing mode.
Step 2: On your Windows 10 laptop, open the Settings menu (Win Key + I ) and go to Device > Bluetooth and other devices and click the Tap button.
Stage 3: Click on the first option to start the scan. If the headphones are within pairing range, they will appear in the list.
Now all you have to do is connect to it and play your favorite songs.
Even if you turn off your laptop/desktop or headset, they will automatically pair with your PC or notebook when you take them out of the case, provided you are within range.
How to Pair Jabra Elite 75t with MacBook
Pairing the Elite 75T with Macbooks is an equally easy and painless task.
Stage 1: In the Status Menu, tap on AirPods option which will open the Bluetooth menu.
Meanwhile, hold down the buttons on both earbuds until you see the light flashing blue. This takes about 3 seconds.
Step 2: The buds will automatically appear in the Bluetooth menu after entering pairing mode. All you have to do is click the Connect button to pair them.
You should now be able to listen to music or answer calls.
If you’re up for some experimentation, open the Bluetooth menu and tap Sound Preferences.
Here you will be able to switch the output of the right and left headphones.
Pairing the Jabra Elite 75t with a Smartwatch
Some smartwatches like the Samsung Galaxy Active 2 and Fitbit Versa come with onboard memory to load music tracks and playlist. This takes the hassle out of carrying your smartphones with you during your runs and hikes. And the best part is, your smartwatch monitors the number of steps, calories burned, etc. You will be able to listen to your favorite songs while recording all your fitness data.
Most smartwatches have different menus. Therefore, the pairing method will differ from device to device. Here we will show you how to connect to Samsung smartwatches like Galaxy Watch and Active 2.
Here we assume that you have already put the buds into pairing mode.
Stage 1: Open Settings on your watch and go to Connectivity > Bluetooth > BT headset and tap Scan.
When you find the Elite 75t in the menu, tap it to connect.
Step 2: After adding the tracks you selected, go to the Sound widget. Tap the little phone icon to change the watch mode.
Press the play button to test if it works.
If you want to take advantage of the Jabra Elite 75t’s maximum potential, make the most of it with a mobile device, as the Sound+ app includes a host of features.
While features like Soundscapes, HearThrough, and the built-in equalizer are popular, there are a few more that improve the overall experience.
Bonus: Save Equalizer Settings
Sound+ app has Bass Boost, Smooth, Energize etc. Make sure it comes with about five different equalizer presets, like But did you know that the app also lets you save a preset of your choice? Yes, you read it right.
All you have to do is set the graphic equalizer to your preference and save it. And whenever you want, you can switch to it via the Sound+ app.
To record one, go to the Sound+ app and tap the Plus icon next to Music Presets.
Adjust the bars to your liking and hit the Save button. Simple, see.
play the music
Make sure that the default setting to pause music when a headphone is removed from the ear works. But if you ask me, I find it a bit annoying especially when I want to listen to songs from a single bud.
If you are like me and want to disable this setting, go to Headphone settings from the bottom menu. Tap on Headphone settings > Audio experience and disable the auto pause/resume audio button.
Great Tip: You can change the Buds Sleep Time in the Headphone settings.
Get the Most Out of Your Headphones
