A few days ago my iPhone went crazy and started draining battery unexpectedly. The device usually heats up and loses power within a few hours. After some research, I found that the problem could be caused by the buggy iOS 13. But when even a software update didn’t fix the problem, I thought of trying some old hacks to improve battery life. Disable Automatic Data Retrieval for Gmail and iCloud Data on iPhone and iPad
iOS gives you full control over how your accounts like Gmail and iCloud can check for updates. By default, it is set to automatically update data using Wi-Fi. But you can disable automatic data update completely or allow them to retrieve data only when certain apps are used.

2. Now, you should see all your accounts. Tap on Fetch New Data.
Manual Data Retrieval Setup for Individual Accounts
You can choose to set up manual data fetching for individual accounts in case you want to take control of certain accounts. tap the relevant account and then select Manual.
Note: You can also set your holiday calendar to collect data manually. To do this, tap on it. Holiday Schedule option and then select Manual.
Set All Your Accounts to Receive App Data Manually
If you want to enable manual data retrieval for all your accounts, including the holiday calendar, manually choice.
After customizing your accounts, exit the settings. From now on, your accounts will only check for updates when the corresponding app is in use.
Note: If you want to completely disable your accounts from receiving data, turn off the switch next to it. Push. One more thing to note, when Low Power Mode is enabled (Settings > Battery), iOS temporarily reduces mail fetching.
