iOS 16: How to mark all your messages as read at once

Let the one who is not infected with the message notifications cast the first stone. Often times, this will quickly delete the notification of the offending message (an ad or SPAM, by the way) rather than opening the app and thus marking it as read. Result: the little red dot on the icon indicates a growing, growing number… Until it gets out of control.

However, there is a particularly simple and quick method to get rid of the worry of unread messages in iOS 16. Not content with adding long-awaited features such as editing sent messages, as well as very practical features such as detecting and hiding pornographic photos, Apple also allows its users to eliminate all these notifications with a few gestures.

Mark All Your Messages as Read in iOS 16

Indeed, a small feature hidden from the eyes of the less experienced exists just to fulfill this task. Nothing could be easier than this to find it, just follow the guide. Just a few clicks will give you peace of mind. Here’s how to go about it:

  • Open the app on your iPhone or iPad posts
  • in the upper right corner of your screen. To organise
  • in the lower left corner of the screen read all

And that’s all. Once these three steps are complete, your app will automatically mark all messages as read, thus eliminating this annoying red dot and its huge counter.
