How to Watch the Super Bowl on Your Android or iPhone

The big game is Sunday, and people all over the world are planning big Super Bowl parties…except for those of you who can’t get on TV for some reason. Fear not, we live in the future. That means watching the Super Bowl from your phone.

A few weeks ago, the NFL announced that they will be posting game plus highlights and stats via the NFL Mobile app. Android and iOS. Unfortunately, this app is only available to Verizon Wireless customers.

Make sure the Verizon VCAST app is updated and required for streaming on some phones. If possible, hop on a Wi-Fi hotspot because streaming the entire game will take quite a bit of data.

Live streaming of the app will provide some extra features that fans should appreciate, such as the ability to switch cameras. And yes, you’ll see the infamous Super Bbowl ads (at least the national ones) alongside the game.

If you are not a Verizon customer, you can always stream the game from a computer by going to: NBC Sports or NFL.com. There you will get additional features like the ability to rewind the live stream.

If you want to watch on a non-Verizon phone or tablet, try visiting: NBC Sports mobile site even regular site with your browser set to emulate a desktop agent. This may work better on a tablet, but only if Adobe Flash is available (sorry iPad owners).
