While Microsoft hosted many game showcases in 2021, Sony has been relatively quiet about what will happen to the PS5 in 2022. Sony will break its relative silence with a 40-minute event that will offer a “look into the future.” PS5.” PlayStation Blog says it expects updates from various PlayStation Studios (their numbers seem to be growing every month) on games coming out this holiday and other titles due in 2022.
Horizon: Forbidden West It may take some release time as it is a PlayStation exclusive game that will be released in the next few months. Of course, there is more excitement about games that we know less about. We haven’t seen a trailer for the next one yet God of War title, so perhaps it will make its gameplay debut. There are a number of other possibilities, such as information about Gran Turismo 7 or news about the next-gen version GTA V.
Perhaps Sony is ready to make the new PS5 firmware widely available that will enable the M.2 SSD slot on all consoles. Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing DLC news for exclusive games launching in 2021. return and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.
