The Samsung Galaxy S8 event will go live today for everyone around the world to connect and see what’s new. However, thanks to the numerous leaks and rumors, we already have a pretty good idea of what to expect. Samsung will take the stage to introduce its latest and greatest smartphone. The event is called Samsung Unpacked and the Galaxy S8 will be in the foreground. Most likely, we will see a new Gear VR 2 with a motion controller, talking about battery safety and some accessories. Along with the second Galaxy S8+ of course.
The event begins today for those in the United States. It will be streamed live on YouTube and Samsung’s own website. At this time, we do not expect another product to appear. Users will be able to see the flagship phone and see it on stage for the first time. Not to mention its specs, waterproofness, and possibly even a release date. While multiple reports suggest April 21 or April 28, that’s the only piece of the puzzle missing right now.
That means we have to wait almost another month after the company announces its new phone for it to be available for purchase worldwide.
