How to Use Galaxy Note 8 Emoji
The same emoji can be used easily, whether you’re texting a friend or sending a message to Facebook. Just above the keyboard is a small special key that gives instant access to over 600 emojis on the Galaxy Note 8.
While the look and feel of the software and keyboard has changed a bit on the Note 8, how you use the keyboard remains the same. The two buttons to the left of the space bar are where all the emojis are ready and waiting.
You can use this emoji in essentially any app. Start by opening a text message, Facebook post or email and open the keyboard if it’s not already open. Those using Samsung’s stock messaging app will see a “smiley” right next to the send button and input field. Tap that and you’re done.
Alternatively, if you’re using a different text messaging app or Facebook, you’ll have to open it differently. Near the bottom left corner, right next to the comma, is an emoji smiley and a small microphone for voice commands. This is what you want to press for the emoji options. If you don’t see the smiley face, press and hold the microphone for more options as shown below.
Tap this smiley button to open the emoji keyboard or long press for even more options along with emoji. The entire emoji collection is available when you tap here. Each page will have a group to choose from, and swiping left or right will scroll through more pages or emojis.
