How to Use Facebook Messenger’s Secret Conversations

Facebook recently launched its brand new feature called “Secret Conversations” for Messenger. Secret Conversations in Facebook Messenger are end-to-end encrypted, so the new feature should please security enthusiasts, meaning messages in this mode cannot be read by anyone, including Facebook and intelligence agencies. Facebook-owned WhatsApp Messenger was recently made available in its app with end-to-end encryption, so it’s no surprise that the company is promoting it for the Messenger app, albeit in a different way.

The Secret Conversations feature has been rolled out to 900 million Facebook Messenger users, but surprisingly it’s still somewhat unknown among users.
