The new Bitmoji Deluxe upgraded Bitmoji creator allows you to choose from over 100 new options and take a selfie to help you get the best looking Bitmoji for Snapchat and Bitmoji keyboard.
Starting today, you can switch from a regular Bitmoji avatar to a Bitmoji Deluxe avatar in the Bitmoji app. This unlocks 40 skin tones, 50 hair colors, 50 hairstyles, and tons of new customization options that let you get a Bitmoji that looks and feels even more like you.
The Bitmoji Deluxe upgrade starts today, but not all users can see it and start using it yet. Even if you primarily use your Bitmoji on Snapchat, you will still need the Bitmoji app to use the Bitmoji Deluxe feature on your iPhone or Android. The feature is coming to both phones at the same time and its use is the same for each. After installation, you can use this Bitmoji on Facebook or even on Mac or PC.

Make sure your Bitmoji app is updated and then follow these instructions to make the change. If you don’t see the option, you’ll need to check back later as it’s not available to everyone at the same time.
- Open the Bitmoji app.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap Avatar Style.
- Select Bitmoji Deluxe.
From here, you can take a selfie that will appear next to you as you create your Bitmoji so you can reference your look. If you don’t see the new Bitmoji Deluxe options when trying to make these changes, you should check back in a few hours or later this week as the new feature will be online for some users. Once created you can use the new Bitmoji Deluxe on Snapchat, on the keyboard and basically anywhere you can use Bitmoji.
