The Accessibility suite has long been an integral part of the Apple ecosystem. Features like Zoom, VoiceOver, and Tap Accommodations make it a useful asset for everyone, including those with different features. Calling Accessibility features is incredibly easy with the Accessibility Shortcut. To be more precise, they are just three clicks away! If you’re a loyal Accessibility user, you’ll want to use the Accessibility Shortcut on your Apple Watch for faster access to your favorite features. So, if you want to try this nifty feature, let me help you get started.
Use Accessibility Shortcut to Quickly Enable Accessibility Features on Apple Watch
Unlike iOS, watchOS offers limited access to Accessibility features such as VoiceOver, Touch Accommodations, and Zoom. It would be nice if there were more options like showing audio transcriptions and enabling “Reducing Motion”, but most people wouldn’t complain considering these are probably the most user-friendly Accessibility features on the Apple Watch.
- start watch app on your iPhone.
2. Now, make sure “My Clock” tab selected in the lower left corner of the screen.
3. Next, select Accessibility.
4. Next, scroll down and Accessibility Shortcut option at the bottom.
5th place, three options choose from:
- VoiceOver: Select this to have Apple Watch speak items on the screen when you triple-click the Digital Crown.
- Zoom: Magnifies the entire screen. Select to enable Zoom by triple-clicking the Digital Crown.
- Tap on Accommodations: It is primarily designed for people who have trouble using the touch screen. You can use it to change how the screen responds to touches. Select this to activate Touch Accommodation by triple-clicking your watch’s Digital Crown.
Now, choose the preferred option according to your needs and then exit the setting. From now on, you can activate your favorite Accessibility feature using the Digital Crown.
Use Accessibility Shortcut to Easily Enable Accessibility Features on watchOS
This is how you can use the Accessibility Shortcut on your Apple Watch to quickly enable your favorite Accessibility features. As far as I can tell from my experience the shortcut works as expected. The triple-click gesture is intuitive, as the Digital Crown is highly responsive. Therefore, it shouldn’t take long to get used to this graceful move.
