All new Windows 10 laptops and desktops have something in common with upgraded PCs. It has tons of Windows 10 apps and games pre-installed on it.
No matter where you bought it, every PC has these preinstalled Windows 10 apps and games. A new computer is coming, full of connections: Legend of Candy Crush Soda, Minecraft and solitaire Microsoft also tries to improve Windows with its own pre-installed applications. If you’re looking for a new app to handle your files and manage your apps, the Mail, Calendar, Photos, Groove Music, and Movies & TV apps are suitable. If not, they just take up storage space on your PC and act as placeholders in your Start Menu.
How easy it is to uninstall a pre-installed Windows 10 app or game depends on who installed it. It only takes a few clicks to delete virus scanners and utilities installed by your computer manufacturer. It’s much harder to delete apps like Mail or Calendar that Microsoft added to Windows 10.
Here’s how to remove pre-installed Windows 10 apps and games from your laptop, desktop or tablet.
How to Uninstall Apps and Games
Press the Start key on your keyboard or click the Start button in the corner of your screen to remove pre-installed Windows 10 apps and games from your computer. This should open the Start area.
With the start area open. Type in the search box and press the key on your keyboard.
Now find any application or game in the list that you want to remove from your computer. Click the icon.
Now click the button to delete it from your system.
Wait a few minutes for Windows 10 to uninstall the application. Keep scrolling down the list and uninstalling apps and games you don’t want or need. While you can remove them without harming your computer, avoid removing any utilities the computer manufacturer has installed to keep your system running. The apps you should keep include programs that let you change your computer’s settings, get help from support, and install the latest drivers.
Once you’ve done that, press the button on your keyboard again to return to Start.
Some PC manufacturers do not install an entire application or game on your system. Instead, they populate Start with links that take you to the Microsoft Store. How to Uninstall Microsoft Apps in Windows 10
Uninstalling Microsoft and apps and games from Windows 10 is more complicated. They appear in the list of installed apps and games, but you cannot uninstall them. This is because Microsoft has said that features within Windows 10 depend on these apps and removing them will break those features.
Fortunately, there is. This free program allows you to uninstall pre-installed Windows 10 apps. Remember, you may not be able to run these apps again unless you refresh Windows 10.

Download 10AppsManager here. Look for a popup on your screen’s button. Click on save instead.
Once the download is finished and the folder opens, drag the 10AppsManager file from the folder to your Desktop.
Open the 10AppsManager folder on your desktop. Now in 10AppsManager. Windows 10 will ask you to confirm that you have opened the application.
Click on any pre-installed Windows 10 apps that you want to remove from your computer. If you do not want any of these applications to be installed, click the button. In general, if you plan to use any app from Microsoft Store or keep your computer up to date, do not uninstall the Store app. Also, some features are now dependent on updates from the Microsoft Store.
