How to Turn Your Windows 10 PC into a Wireless Hotspot?

Here’s how to turn your Windows 10 PC into a wireless hotspot.

To turn your Windows 10 computer into a wireless hotspot, you need a computer with a working internet connection, the latest Windows 10 updates, and the correct drivers. We will verify most of them in this tutorial. But unfortunately there is no easy way to guess if your device has drivers that allow hotspot connection.

First, check if the computer you want to turn into a wireless access point has a stable internet connection. You can do this from your Taskbar. If the icon is white, you have an internet connection. If not, click the icon to connect to the internet. Mobile Hotspot in Windows 10 works with Ethernet connections, Wi-Fi connections, and mobile data connections from your wireless carrier.
