How to Try Outlook.com Beta
Microsoft has launched the beta version to a subset of Outlook users. The feature will be rolled out gradually.
When you get the update, A toggle switch will appear in the upper right corner of your inbox (as shown in the picture). When you turn on the toggle, your page will refresh and show you the beta version of Outlook.com. It is very useful as it allows you to switch. Switch between beta version and regular version of Outlook with just one click.

1. Open outlook.com Sign in in your web browser and with your account. When you log in, Make sure your web-URL is the same as given below.

3. Now all you have to do is Replace “/owa/” with “/mail/” (without quotes and press enter/return.
4. When you press the home/return key, The page will refresh and you will be redirected to the beta version of Outlook.com.. You will see a pop-up card welcoming you. Click all to use the beta version.
5. As you can see, I am running the beta version of Outlook.com. You can see the toggle button in the top right corner of the page.
6. However, once you sign out of your account, you will no longer be able to access the Outlook.com beta program when you sign in. To use the beta version again, click instead of going to Oulook.com to log into your account. in the link below (https://outlook.live.com/mail/#/inbox) and then login to your account.
note: When using the workaround, you should never turn off the toggle as it will remove the workaround permanently.
What’s New in Outlook.com Beta
Now that you’ve activated the Beta program, let’s take a quick look at what’s new in the current version. One of the biggest changes brought by the Outlook.com Beta is, more responsive web development framework. The new frame brings an upgraded search feature, a fresher look with a modern speaking style, and also faster file and photo attachment.
The name of a feature I really like “Quick Suggestions”. The idea is that the service gives you quick suggestions based on your content as you type. For example, if you type the name of a restaurant, the suggestions will show you an online list of the restaurant that you can attach to the mail. Among other features is a More personalized inbox with built-in support for emojis and GIFs. The company also said that improvements to the calendar and contacts tab will roll out in the coming months.
