1. After setting up your BGMI account, you will see an “Account Data Transfer” popup asking you to confirm whether you are resident in India or not. Tap “Yes” to confirm you are actually accessing the game from India.

2. Within seconds, you will see a new popup asking if you want to transfer your old PUBG Mobile data to this new account. Tap on “Yes, please continue” To confirm your transaction
3. In the next step, you need to approve the account transfer. When you migrate your PUBG Mobile data to Battlegrounds Mobile India, the data of the old account will be deleted. Also, you may not be able to receive some old in-game addons during the transition period. Press “Yes” to confirm your consent to this account migration.
4. Now you have to select the social media account you previously linked with PUBG Mobile. Tap “OK” to login to your Facebook/Twitter account to start the account migration process.
5. Enter your Facebook/Twitter credentials and login to your account. After logging in, PUBG Mobile will ask for email address access. “

Questionable avatar options aside, I got my old PUBG Mobile account and outfit on Battlegrounds Mobile India as you can see in the image below:
