Taking amazing firework photos is easy with the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 if you know what to do and have a few accessories. Even if you don’t have time to buy a Galaxy S5 tripod, you can take amazing firework photos and photos with your Android smartphone.

Before diving too deep, if you have a DLSR, it’s a good time to carry it with you and leave your Galaxy S5 or Galaxy S4 in your pocket. While there are plenty of apps and tips for taking good looking fireworks photos with the Galaxy S5 and S4, for most users, they can’t compete with a DSLR.

Turn Off Flash

To do this, open the camera app, tap the settings icon, and then tap the flash until you see Flash Off or No next to the flash icon.

Open the camera app, go to settings and turn on Burst Mode. When you’re ready, hold down the shutter button to take 20-30 photos in a single press. You have to hold it until it’s gone.

The Galaxy S5 takes 30 photos, while the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 take 20 photos in the same time frame.
