This guide will show you how to switch from Android to iPhone using the Move to iOS Android app and how to switch to an iPhone running iOS 10, including iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and other models.
When you switch from Android to iPhone, you can now quickly fetch your contacts, Google accounts, messages, camera roll, and bookmarks.
After using the Move to iOS app to switch from Android to iPhone, you need to complete some settings on your iPhone as well.
The Move to iOS app is free and the transfer is over WiFi. This process can take some time, so if you have a lot of photos or messages, you should schedule 30 minutes or more.
You must be setting up a new iPhone or you need to reset the iPhone to get the Move from Android to iPhone option as part of the restore process.
When you switch from Android to iPhone, you have to find and download your apps manually. Note that you can still play some of your content on Google Play with Google Play Music and Google Play Movies for iPhone.
How to Switch from Android to iPhone

After downloading, open the app and accept the terms and conditions. The application then comes to a screen where it waits for a code.
On your iPhone, start the initial setup until you get to the Restore screen. Once there, you should tap Move from Android. You will then see a code on your screen.
Enter this on your Android smartphone. This allows two devices to connect over WiFi.
Soon you will see a summary of what to transfer from Android to iPhone. Do not exit the app or move the phones apart until this is complete.
Once the transfer is complete, iPhone will need to finish some cleaning activities and then you will need to complete iPhone setup, including whether you need to merge iCloud data with what’s on iPhone.
After completing the iPhone setup, you will soon see a popup in iPhone settings asking you to enter Google account passwords. Tap Settings to go to the page to enter your password. The app will not transfer the password even if it transfers your Google account.
