The Samsung Galaxy S III already runs pretty smoothly, but a simple tweak can speed things up and make the UI more responsive to user input.

How to Speed Up Galaxy S III?
Follow these steps:
- Open
- Open (second from bottom)
- section, select
- Choose from lower-than-default options such as .5x or 0
- Select a lower-than-default option such as .5x or 0 and select again
I chose .5x for both options and experienced a noticeable speed difference.
This changes the animation of windows and transitions, allowing for faster movement when you tap or swipe various UI icons.
