The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta begins September 12 on PS4 and next weekend on Xbox One and PC. This guide shows you how to sign up and prepare for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta so you can make the most of your time in the game.
The beta has two weekends, but only PS4 players can play both weekends.
This is an open beta, but it’s only open half the time. If you want to play all weekend, you will need to pre-order and sign up for the beta.
To get Early Access for the Modern Warfare beta, you must pre-order and receive a code as a pre-order bonus. You can do this at: Amazon, Game Pause, best buy, Microsoft, Sonyand war.net.
How to Sign Up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta

It only takes a minute or two to sign up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta, but you should do so before the beta arrives.
There are two things you need for early access. You need the code you get when you pre-order, and then you sign up with it to get the beta token you get in the store on PS4, Xbox One or Battle.net.
When you receive an email from your seller or pre-order in-store, you must save your receipt in Call of Duty.
- Find your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta code. (13 characters)
- Sign in to the Modern Warfare beta Web site.
- Use your Activision account or console/Battle.net account.
- Paste the beta code.
- Choose your platform and then Submit.
When you do, you will see a success message and you can sit back and wait for your beta token.
If you’ve already used a code for the Captian Price Blackout character, you’re already registered for the beta. You can check your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta version. Access in Call of Duty.
If you do not have a code from your reseller or there is a problem with your code, you will need to contact the place where you purchased your game.
Near September 12, you will receive an email containing your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta token. We are expecting a pre-load period so hopefully it will arrive around September 10.
