Do Not Disturb is a feature I use often on my iPhone. Whenever I’m driving or in a meeting, I turn it on so I won’t be disturbed. I use the DND feature instead of muting my iPhone as it allows me to send automated messages to texters. So they know I am busy and I will reply when I am available. It also helps them understand why I’m not responding. In this article, I will show you how you can customize and set up Do Not Disturb auto-reply messages on iPhone.
Customize and Set Up Do Not Disturb Auto-Reply Message
By default, if you have DND enabled on your device, Apple will send you a message that you are driving. You can change this message and draft your message. You can also decide who receives this message.
1. To customize auto reply message on iPhone, Open Settings and tap on “Do Not Disturb”.
2. Scroll down here and “Auto Answer” option.
3. Now tap on the text field and compose the message you want.
4. Once done, Tap the “Back” button to save the changes.
5. Tap “Auto Reply” to set who receives these messages.
6. Here you can choose between nobody, favourites, all contacts and last contacts. I set it to favorites to make sure I keep the important people in my life informed.
