Earlier this week, Google introduced the ability to send email as attachments in Gmail. With this new app, users will be able to seamlessly insert emails into emails without sending a dozen follow-up emails to the recipient’s inbox.
“Sending emails as attachments allows you to write a summary email message to your recipients and add a set of supporting emails that recipients can open directly in their mail client.”, a software giant blog post.
How to Send Emails as Attachments in Gmail
1. Sign in to your Gmail account, “createClick the ” button and select the emails you want to add to the email you are currently creating.
2. Drag and drop the selected emails into the Gmail compose window as you can see in the picture below.
3. The selected emails will now appear as attachments in the compose window, just like how they appear after attaching files to emails. Alternatively, select the emails and click “send as attachmentThe option that appears when you click on the vertical ellipsis icon.

As always, Google is following the gradual rollout process that gradually brings the feature to users. If you don’t have this feature yet, don’t worry. It will appear in your Gmail in the coming weeks.
