Prerequisite – Enable Steam Guard

  • Once you are on the Steam homepage, click on it. Community -> Market From the main menu to go to the Steam Community Market.

  • Once complete, the next menu opens, where you can: set the price of the item Regardless of the amount you enter that you plan to sell, Steam will charge you a fee for the transaction and therefore the amount you receive will always be less than what a buyer paid for the item. Click to list your product for sale “Okay, it’s on sale”.

  • Steam will now ask you to confirm the sale price. Simply click “OK” to approve.


  • Now, before the item is listed for sale, Steam will ask you to confirm the transaction via Email or the Steam Mobile app. To confirm in the mobile app, go to the App’s menu and “Confirmations”. Now, the app will show the product you are about to sell. simply tick the box next to and click on “Confirm Selected”.

  • Well, that’s pretty much all you have to do by the seller. You will be able to see your active list when you go to the Steam Community Market until the product is sold.
