With Netflix’s vast library, it can be overwhelming to stay up to date with movies and new episodes for current shows. Today, we’ll take a look at how you can use this feature to be notified of new TV shows and movies.
See What’s Coming Soon on Netflix
We’ve added a separate set of instructions to watch upcoming shows on mobile, web and TV. You can switch to your preferred platform for watching Netflix using the table of contents below:

1. Open the Netflix app and Skip to ‘Coming Soon’ from the bottom navigation bar.
2. From here, you can browse all upcoming content. If you find something that interests you, Press the ‘Remind’ icon to be notified. When the show airs, you’ll also see it on your watchlist.

1. Open Netflix’s official web player and look for an option that says: ‘New and Popular’ in the top bar.
2. You can now browse what’s new, what’s coming this week, and next week. If you find an interesting Netflix TV Show or movie, you can click the bell icon to get notified when it’s ready to watch.
TV
1. Open the app on your TV and access the left side menu. From the side menu, Look for an option titled ‘New and Popular’ and select it.
2. You can now scroll down here to see upcoming Netflix TV shows and set reminders for your favourites.
Third Party Solutions
If you’re looking for a third-party solution to keep up to date with what’s coming to the streaming platform in the near future, there are a few options. You can use Letterboxd’s upcoming movie tracker if you want a web based tool. Those looking for a mobile app should check out the next section in the Hobby app (Freein-app purchases), available on both Android and iOS.
Also, if you want to watch newly released movies, you should check out Justwatch’s movies. New Part this will sort the new titles in reverse chronological order. You can also use tools from built-in players, such as rotten tomatoes and IMDbbut you’ll have to take an extra step to find what’s streaming on Netflix.
