How to Schedule a UI Night Mode on Old Galaxy Smartphones

Enable Automatic Night Mode on Old Galaxy Smartphones

If you’re using One UI on a Galaxy S9, S9+, Note 9, or another Galaxy smartphone with One UI support, you can set Night Mode to turn on and off automatically as follows:

1. On your phone, go to: Enable Settings and Developer Options By tapping the Build Number seven times. After doing that go to Developer Options in Settings.

2. Here, scroll down until you find the location. Night Mode option. Tap on it and you can set From Night Mode to ‘Auto’.

When you do this, your phone will automatically turn Night Mode on and off based on the time of day. While this isn’t as flexible as the options you get with the latest Galaxy S10 smartphone lineup, it’s better than having to manually enable or disable dark mode on your phone.

Program Night Mode on Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10e

If you’re using a Galaxy S10, S10+, or S10e, you can schedule Night Mode to turn on according to the time of day, or even set a custom schedule to enable and disable it. You can do this like this:
