How to Revert to Windows 10 from Windows 11

If you’ve recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and don’t find the new UI, taskbar, and Start menu to your liking, don’t worry, you can easily switch back to Windows 10. While we love many of the Windows 11 features, we understand that the next-gen operating system isn’t for everyone. The user interface has been completely overhauled and Microsoft has also removed many features from Windows 11. Here, we have mentioned three ways to switch from Windows 11 to Windows 10. If you want to go back within 10 days of installing the preview build, the transition will be smoother without a hitch. However, if the 10-day period has expired, you will have to manually install Windows 10 on your computer. So, without further ado, let’s get straight to the point.

• Upgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10 in 10 Days

If you have installed Windows 11 and don’t feel comfortable using the new user interface, don’t worry, you can switch to Windows 10 without any problems. must take this action within 10 days Installing the Windows 11 preview build. 4. You will now be able to revert from Windows 11 to Windows 10 even after 10 days. keep in mind maximum recovery time is 60 days. So, if you decide to go back to Windows 10, remember to do so within this 2 month period.

• Revert to Windows 10 from Windows 11 (Manual Installation)

This method kicks in if you’ve passed the 10-day (or up to 60-day) rollback window. Also, if you deleted the “Windows.old” folder to free up space or used Storage Sense to remove temporary files, you can’t switch to Windows 10 without everything intact.

You will need to clean install Windows 10 and this is All your programs and files (Desktop, My Documents, etc.). Note that Windows 10 will activate automatically, so you don’t have to worry. Also, files or folders in all other partitions are untouched. However, if you have valuable or personal files stored on your computer, we strongly recommend that you back them up.

2. Once the bootable USB stick is ready, restart your computer and while the computer boots up, start pressing the boot key Continuously. Select the thumb drive from the boot screen and hit enter.

note: On HP notebook computers, pressing the “F9” key during startup displays the Boot Options menu. For other laptops and desktops, you will need to search the Internet for the boot key. It should be one of: F12, F9, F10, etc.

3. You will now boot into the Windows 10 installer setup. Now follow this instruction pathClick “Next -> Install Now -> I don’t have a product key -> Custom”.

4. Now, define “C” drive partition according to the drive size and click “Next” to install Windows 10 on your computer. This will only wipe your C drive (programs and files on Desktop, My Documents, Downloads – all on C drive). And all your other partitions will remain untouched.

10. After the installation process is complete, your PC will reboot. Now you can Remove the USB flash driveand you upgraded from Windows 11 to Windows 10. That’s it.
