Apple has made some major changes to the way you unlock your iDevices in iOS 10. Users immediately noticed that the iconic unlock slide has been completely replaced with “Press home button to unlock”. How To Enable Slide To Unlock

note: I tested this tweak on an iPhone 6 running jailbroken iOS 10.2 and can confirm it works. It should also work on other jailbroken iOS 10 devices.

  • Open cydia, Switch to “resourcesClick the ” tab and add the following Source, then “Add source“.

  • After adding the source “CallClick the ” tab and search for “”SlideToUnlock10” (without quotes).

  • Next, tap on “To organise” > “To approve”.

  • Faucet “Restart SpringBoard“.

Your device should now be working again in a few seconds and the slider should return to your iDevice to unlock.

How To Use This New Slide To Unlock

SlideToUnlock10 do not do Make it clear that your iPhone is now activated by swiping to unlock, as the home screen still displays “Press home to unlock”. However, if you swipe right on the lock screen as you usually do to access the “Today View”, you will now see the password login option displayed.
