How to Reset Your iPhone or iPad in iOS 7

It’s been a few days since iOS 7 was released, and many iPhone and iPad users have already updated to the latest version, raising a bunch of questions about the new look and layout. While most of the features remain the same, Apple has changed some things that aren’t quite obvious to those new to iOS 7.

How to Reset Your iOS 7 Device

To reset settings and erase all data on your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app and go to General > Reset. As you will see, there are six options to choose from:

After choosing any of these settings, you will be asked to enter your passcode (if enabled) and then a final prompt to make sure you want to reset the settings or wipe your phone completely.
