India opened registrations for COVID-19 vaccines earlier this year. According to government statistics, so far more than 13.26 crore citizens have been fully vaccinated and about 46 crore Indians have received their first dose of vaccine. Reserve COVID-19 Vaccine Slots on WhatsApp in India (2021)
1. To get started, you must add the MyGov Corona Helpdesk chatbot as a contact. this contact number +91 9013151515. Alternatively, you can use this direct link To access the chatbot in WhatsApp. When the connection is opened, Tap “Continue Chat”and you will be redirected to WhatsApp.
note: Before continuing, I would like to point out that you cannot register for the COVID-19 vaccine via WhatsApp. Instead, you will need to Visit Cowin’s website To register and add members. 2. Next, Send “Book Slot” as a message and enter the 6-digit OTP you received as an SMS. Specifically, you must enter the number you used when registering for the Coronavirus vaccine. If your WhatsApp number is not the same as the number you used for COVID registration, you will be asked to enter your registered number.
3. You will now see a list of all the members you have added to your Cowin account. To reserve the vaccination slot for a particular member, type the number paired with it in the WhatsApp message. In my case, ‘1’. After selecting the beneficiary, Tap “Search by pin code” Press the button in the next message to call the vaccination center with the pin code.
4. You can now choose to view free vaccines, paid vaccines, or both. You can do Tap on “Any” to view both free and paid ones. If you’re trying to book space for your first shot, you’ll also see an option to choose the type of vaccine.
5. Next, you have to enter your region’s pin code. The chatbot will show you the available centers near you, along with the date and number of doses. Type the number next to the date to book your vaccination seat. For example, if you want to book on August 25, as shown in the image below, send a message ‘2’ to the chatbot.
6. You will then receive the confirmation message for your Coronavirus vaccine slot in India. Once approved, you can visit the vaccination center at the scheduled date and time to receive your vaccine dose.
