Popular photo editing and filter app Prisma this weekend, Released on Androidallows users to turn photos into beautiful works of art inspired by real artists like Picasso. It’s a great app with stunning results and here we’ll explain how to uninstall it quickly. prism logo or watermark on photos.
Prisma has been extremely popular since its release. It has leapt to the top of the App Store in terms of downloads and has so many users that its servers can’t keep up with demand. Prisma are Instagram filters on steroids that use artificial intelligence to turn photos into art.
Now that Prisma is available on both Android and iOS, millions of users are enjoying 33+ fancy filters to transform their photos into so much more. However, this watermark under each photo ruins the experience, but luckily it can be quickly turned off in settings. Lets start.
For those who don’t know, Prisma is not just a filter app. Instead, it uses tons of computing power and artificial intelligence along with advanced neural networks to completely redraw a photo to look like a famous work of art. From Picasso to Monk and even patterns like Mondrian.
Instead of instantly applying a filter to the phone like Instagram and others, the app actually sends the photo to the company servers, redraws it and sends the results back to the user. It takes a few seconds longer than other similar apps, but the results are worth the wait.
After making my first few fine artworks using Prisma, I was sad to see a watermark in the bottom corner and was expecting some sort of in-app purchase to remove their logo, but that’s not the case. Instead, users just need to follow the simple instructions below to remove the Prisma logo.
Instructions
Prisma is free and removing watermark from photos also does not cost anything. Instead we just need to go to settings and turn it off.
Start by opening the Prisma app on your Android or iOS phone and tablet. The home screen has some camera controls, a button to take photos or find images in your phone gallery. There is a gear-shaped “settings” button in the middle right and you have to tap it as shown below.
It’s that easy, no trimming needed. In the settings, the company has the option to turn off the Prisma logo or watermark entirely, leaving our photos to do all the talking on their own. It’s worth noting that the settings menu also has the option to save original photos when the app itself is used to take photos, or automatically save pictures instead of just sharing them on a social network like Facebook or Instagram.
When you turn off the watermark or logo, it will no longer show in the preview when adding a filter, and users can now share the finished product on social networks without the logo in the bottom corner. However, if you like the app and want others to try it, consider leaving the watermark so others can know where it’s coming from and enjoy the same experience.
