Redeem codes on Xbox One
Xbox One makes it super easy for users to redeem codes for a game or add-on. After scraping the skin to reveal the code on a prepaid card or get a square QR code from a game. Stand in front of your Xbox One with Kinect enabled and Xbox will immediately try to redirect any QR codes it sees.
You can also enter the numbers and letters that make up the standard codes here. Xbox users who don’t have a Kinect plugged in can also open the Store app and choose: Use Code from the menu on the right.
Redeem codes on Xbox 360
Redeeming codes on Xbox 360 is not that easy, but still simple.
Grab your Xbox 360 controller and press the circular button Guide button in its center.
When the popup menu appears, move the top joystick on your controller left twice to open My Games and Apps tab.
Move the upper joystick down once to hover. Compensate code menu option. Press A.
Now use the joystick and A button to type the letters and numbers from your prepaid code for game content or Xbox Live subscription. You can do this by moving the joystick with the cursor on the screen over that letter and pressing A. After entering the code correctly, Start Press the button on your remote.
