How to Record Your iPhone Screen (No Jailbreak or Computer Required)

Forget about complicated setups or connecting your iPhone to your computer. With iOS 11, it’s easy to record your iPhone screen without jailbreak or computer.

You can use apps like AirShou or connect it to a computer to record your iPhone screen with QuickTime, but this isn’t the best way to capture gameplay footage or quickly record a clip to show someone how to use the iPhone feature while you’re out and about. .

iOS 11 screen recording feature allows you to record your iPhone screen in full resolution and also record your voice. This lets you quickly give directions to someone, or you can use it for a game voiceover.

The arrows turn yellow as you trim, and you can change the length by moving the arrow on either side. Tap play to see the clip trimmed to the new length.

Tap on Done when you’re ready. Select Save As New Clip and it will be saved to your Camera Roll as a new clip without the original being touched. If you want more editing options, you can edit it in iMovie on your iPhone or transfer it to your computer to edit there.
