iTunes isn’t terrible by any means, but it slows down the process of putting photos on your iPhone when there are much faster ways to do it. Also, it’s pretty silly to mess up the software so you can transfer photos to your iPhone if you’ve never used iTunes in the first place.
There are methods that eliminate iTunes altogether, some that take a little longer, others involve using third-party software to quickly copy and paste photos to your iPhone using the device’s file system; this is much faster than doing. via iTunes.
Here’s how to transfer photos to your iPhone without using iTunes.
Using Cloud Storage Service
Perhaps the easiest way to put photos on your iPhone without using iTunes is to use Dropbox, Google Drive, or another cloud storage service. However, it is also the most time-consuming method.
This method requires you to have the cloud storage service app on your iPhone, so if you are using Dropbox, be sure to download and install it. Dropbox app from iTunes App Store. You can also download and install the desktop application on your computer. Otherwise, you will use the web interface.
To use cloud storage to transfer photos to your iPhone, simply copy and paste the photos to your Dropbox folder on your computer or upload them via the web interface. All in all, the best way to transfer photos to your iPhone quickly and easily is to use third-party software. personally i like iExplorerThis allows you to view your iPhone’s file system and add files to it if needed. You will also need iExplorer Mobile for your iPhone. iTunes App Store.
After downloading and installing iExplorer, connect your iPhone to your computer and run iExplorer. It should automatically detect your iPhone.
Click on which will take you to a list of your iPhone’s file system similar to that on your computer, so you should be pretty familiar with how it works. From here we will drag and drop the photos into the file system so you can view them on your iPhone using the Photos app.
