For those of you who regularly take your iPad out of the house, you’ll probably want to use a more complex passcode, and lucky you, it’s an easy process and one that can be done directly from within iOS. .
So, grab your iPad and let’s get started.
Start and choose.
Scroll down and select.
If it is currently changed to , you must enter your numeric password. Go ahead and do this now.
Then switch.
If you have a numeric password, you will have to enter it again.
You will then be taken to a new screen where you want to go. You can use the entire keyboard whenever you want. I like to use a combination of numbers, letters and symbols.
You’re done. It’s that easy. You now have a more secure password for your iPad or iPad 2, and that should probably be enough to keep most thieves away.
