Here’s how to play games on your PC with an Xbox One controller, along with some games that already support the functionality.

In the past, Microsoft PC users were able to play games with Xbox 360. Gaming on your PC with an Xbox One controller is very different.
For starters, there’s really no extra hardware involved. Every Xbox One comes with a wireless controller. This controller has everything it needs to connect to your PC except a MicroUSB cable.
If you already have the controller, you’re almost ready. Look around the house for any MicroUSB cables that may have come with a recently purchased smartphone or tablet.
