First off, I already have accounts with both services so I’m already familiar with many of their features and quirks, but more importantly, they’re among the most popular cloud storage platforms worldwide so it would be reassuring for many. Use MultCloud to Move Files Between Google Drive and Dropbox

MultCloud is one of the best free, web-based services that lets you sync across multiple cloud storage platforms. interface extremely intuitive and even first-time users should have no trouble navigating the setup process, which requires very little user input other than account names and passwords. Because the service is web-based You don’t even need to install anything on your PC. To use the service, all you have to do is go to the official website of the company by clicking on it. this link.

  1. The best part of MultCloud’s service is that you will not need to create an account to use its service. you can simply Click the “Experience without registration” link to start.
  2. You will be prompted to add cloud drives, so Click on “Add Cloud Drives” as seen in the picture below.

  3. Choose any of the cloud drives Make an offer and click “Next”. In my case I chose Google Drive.

  5. You will be redirected to Google’s secure login page. Sign in to your Google Account by filling in your credentials.

  6. Confirm that you want MultCloud to access your account.

  7. Once MultCloud accesses your Google Drive account, you will see a list of all your GDrive files in the MultCloud window.

  8. Now select your second cyberlock account in exactly the same way. Add Cloud Drives -> Dropbox -> Next.

  9. Fill in your Dropbox Credentials and Allow MultCloud to access your Dropbox account.

  10. Once you click Allow, you will be taken to the MultiCloud page, which you need to do. Click on the “Cloud Transfer” option at the top.

  11. click “Choose the Directory you want to transfer” and select the exact files/folders you want to move.

  12. In my case, I chose to transfer a folder named “Antivirus” from Google Drive to Dropbox. Don’t forget to click “OK” after making your selection.

  13. Next, Choose your “target directory”Dropbox in my case.

  14. When you’re done choosing both your source and your target, Click “Transfer Now”.

  15. You will receive a message saying “Successful”; this means that the folder you selected in Google Drive is now backed up in your Dropbox account.

  16. Of course, as in my case, you can go to your Dropbox control panel to check yourself if the transfer was successful.

Other Options for Syncing Your Files Between Different File Hosting Services

While MultCloud is one of the best options available for this purpose, it’s certainly not the only player in the market to offer to move your data between multiple cloud services for free. You can use other services like Cloudsfer and Mover.io for the same thing, but both have stricter restrictions on their free tier compared to MultCloud. While Cloudsfer only offers 5GB of data transfer for free, Mover.io doesn’t even have a free tier anymore, but it did have one until last year.

when it comes MultCloud offers a massive 2TB (yes, that’s TeraBytes with a T) transfers before you need to subscribe to the paid tier. Even then, the plans are pretty reasonable compared to some of their competitors, as you’ll only have to pay $69.99 per year for unlimited traffic. Mover.ioon the other hand, charges $20 per user for only 20GB of data and then $1 per GB. Clouds only seemingly more affordable (if you can call it that) and Charges $6 to transfer 8GB Data after the 5GB free transfer limit is exhausted. While they all have their own pros and cons, as of right now it’s hard to beat the value proposition MultCloud brings to the table.
