This works on older iPhones and newer iPhones, so no matter what iPhone you have, this will make the text larger. You can also do this on iPad. You cannot use the Zoom feature that we talked about in the second part of this guide on iPad.
How to Make iPhone Text Larger
You can enlarge iPhone text in settings and make it bold if you want the text to be easier to read. This setting takes about 10 seconds to turn on. If you turn on the Bold option, it will take a little longer as the iPhone needs to reboot.

- Go to settings.
- Tap on Display & Brightness.
- Tap on Text Size.
- Drag the slider to the right to enlarge the text.
- Tap Back to save your changes.
On the Image and Brightness screen, you can also choose to make your text bold. If you turn on the Bold setting, it will restart your iPhone before it is applied.
When you change the text size on iPhone, you will enlarge all the text on iPhone. If you need to make it even bigger, you have to go to the Accessibility options where you have more control.
