Some of the steps may seem pointless, but we recommend that you follow each one to avoid any problems. It will take some time to complete, but it’s worth making sure you’re doing it right.
Back up iPhone or iPad to iCloud or iTunes. We prefer a local backup, but either will work. Make sure the backup is complete before continuing. If you’re using a password on your iTunes backup, turn it off and make a new backup before jailbreaking it.
Make a full backup.
If you have done the iOS 7.0.4 update over the air, you should restore the iPad using iTunes to avoid any problems. It may work without doing this, but the team recommends this step.

- Wait for the software to download and install.

Complete the installation before continuing.
Disable any Passcode on iPhone and turn off Find My iPhone to be safe.

Once the file is downloaded and your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is ready, we can start the actual jailbreak process.
Do not use iTunes for anything else while using the iOS 7 jailbreak tool. Plug the iPhone or iPad into your computer, then open the evasi0n jailbreak on the computer.
