How to Install GravityBox on Android Nougat

If you are a strong Android user, you must have definitely used the Xposed Framework and its extensive module list to customize your device. One such module is GravityBox. Probably one of the best Xposed Modules ever made, GravityBox offers loads of customization features under the hood that allow you to take full control of your device. Unfortunately GravityBox requires the Xposed Framework to run, which until recently was not available on Android Nougat devices. Now that Xposed has been ported to Android Nougat, GravityBox has also been updated to support Android Nougat. Install GravityBox on Android Nougat

note: Before you start, make sure you have Xposed Framework installed on your device. For that, you can check our guide on how to install Xposed Framework on Android Nougat devices. Also note that GravityBox should work on AOSP or stock based ROMs. It may not be compatible with ROMs heavily modded by their manufacturers.

  • To get started, enable Unknown Sources on your device to allow third-party apps to be installed. To do this, open Android Settings and per “Security” choice. Once there, enable the toggle next to it “Unknown sources”.

  • Download GravityBox APK File for Android 7.0 Nougat here and install it.

Installing GravityBox

  • After installing the app, you will receive a notification from the Xposed Installer. “Xposed module not yet activated”. Tap on it to go to the modules section of Xposed and Check the checkbox next to GravityBox. After doing this, Restart your device To enable GravityBox.

  • After your device restarts, open the GravityBox app and grant the necessary permissions To make the module work properly. You will also get a warning prompt saying that GravityBox should only be used on unmodified Android devices. Just tap on “Okay, I got it.” to continue.

  • And that’s it. GravityBox is now installed on your device. Go ahead and change your heart with the help of GravityBox.
