Startup sounds have been an identity of Windows operating systems. People identify the Windows version of nearby computers based on the sound it plays. 3. In the Sound Control Panel, Sounds tab and control “Play Windows Startup sound” and click Apply.
4. After doing this, restart your PC and you will hear the startup sound when it boots up.
After all these years, Microsoft has not found a way to stop the old settings and make all the components of the operating system compatible with the modern design language. But the Redmond giant is slowly making progress, and that bodes well.
